Atelier and Archivist for the Settlers of Proxima

Introducing ... NOTTEKON™

Secure the Proximan skies and pillage like a pro pilot with the radical new game, NOTTEKON™, from Standard Day Studio:  the official atelier and archivist and for Proximan settlers!!!

... FEATURING ...

Lillian Applewater’s applause-worthy Aerial Assault Spear!!!
Alyx Albright’s magnificent Medical Reconnaisance Scoop Ship!!!
And, of course ... Ace Hammersmith’s harbinger-of-heat, the Houndstooth Corvette!!!

More complex than checkers. Less complex than chess. From the sky to the table setting, NOTTEKON™ is the first board game offered to the early settlers of Proxima Centuari B!

Thanks to the advanced capabilities of on-planet 3D printing technology combined with the powerful, technologically enhanced and free-growing Elderwood timber seeded over 50 Earth years ago, Standard Day Studio is proud to announce this simple game of strategy to cure new-planet apathy and inspire exploration of our new home!!!

... GAME RULES ...

The object of the came is to capture your opponents fleet.

Houndstooth: CLASS III.
Spear: CLASS II.
Scoop: CLASS I.

NOTE! A ship of a higher class may capture a ship of an equal or lower class.  Ships of lower classes may capture ships of an equal class. In order to capture a higher class ship, multiple lower class ships may join forces on a single spot to then advance and attack. No ship class grouping may be higher than 3!!!

NOTE! When a ship is attacked, a legal move will result in a break in the stasis field and send the piece falling to the surface of the Elderwood board. Please remove fallen pieces to keep gameplay clean and tidy!!!

NOTE! If a ship reachers the center of the board, it may warp to any other unoccupied spot on the board.

NOTE! All ships may move forward or backward in a straight line. All ships may move side to side laterally. No ship may move at a diagonal. This means that when you advance to the inner ring, you must move left or right in order to move closer to the central warp tile.

NOTE! Respect the lines of skirmish!!! Respect the rules of interplanetary war!!!

NOTE! Skirmishes may last no longer than 22 Proximan minutes (about 30 Earth minutes). At the end of 22 minutes, the player with the the largest amount of captured ships wins.

Standard Day Studio reserves all rights to game name NOTTEKON™, board and graphic design, and notes this game as an original work. Beware imposters, and godspeed in your quest to capture the enemy fleet and secure the Proximan skies!!!
